For reference, the Service PC is the desktop computer, and the Controller PC is located inside the black box under the desk.
Shutdown
- Stop the AutoStore system via the Console on the Service PC
- Navigate to the Controller PC. The Controller PC doesn’t have its own monitor/keyboard/mouse, so you must use remote desktop and connect from the Service PC to the Controller PC. To establish a remote desktop connection:
- On the Service PC, click the Windows Start button and search for “Remote Desktop Connection.”
- Type in the IP address for the Controller PC: 192.168.0.230 (This information is typically auto-filled from previous use.) Click “Connect.”
- It may ask for a username and password. If so:
- Username: AutoStore
- Password: Mp0402hh*
- Stop the AS Driver application by closing the Driver window.
- Stop the AS services.
- In the Windows Start Menu, search for “Services”
- Select each AS service and click “Stop”.
- NOTE: Systems running on AS Planner will not have BinJobPlanner, BinJobRouter, or Platform Service. AS Planner replaces these.
- In the Windows Start Menu, click the power button and select “Restart”
- The Remote Desktop Connection will be disconnected and closed.
- (When executing a full re-set) On the Application Server, search for "Services" in the Windows Start menu
- Select each AS service and click “Stop”.
Startup
- On the Application Server, search for "Services" in the Windows Start menu
- Select each AS service and click "Start" if they are not already running.
- Wait a few minutes to allow the Controller PC to boot up, then reconnect via the Remote Desktop (see step 2 above)
- Once connected to the Controller PC, wait a few minutes to allow the startup apps to come up.
- The AS Driver application should start up automatically. If it does not, start it from the desktop icon.
- Wait for the “Backup received OK” notification in AS Driver to appear.
- The AS Driver application should start up automatically. If it does not, start it from the desktop icon.
- Start the AS Port Manager (if applicable) from the desktop icon on the Controller PC
- Port Manager must always remain running for the Fusion Port to work properly!
- In the Start menu of the Controller PC, search for “services”. Make sure all the AutoStore services have the status of “Running”. If they don’t, Start the service by clicking on the service and clicking “Start” on the left side of the screen.
- See note in step 4c above.
- Minimize the remote desktop connection to return to the Service PC.
- Click the play button on the Console to start the AutoStore
