In the event of a power outage, to get the AutoStore back up and running:

  1. Press the power button on the UPS
  2. Press the power button on the Controller PC. The Controller PC is located in the black controller box under the service PC desk.
  3.  The Controller PC doesn’t have its own monitor/keyboard/mouse, so you have to use remote desktop and connect from the Service PC to the Controller PC. To establish a remote desktop connection:
    1. On the Service PC, click the Windows Start button and search for “Remote Desktop Connection.”
    2. Type in the IP address for the Controller PC: 192.168.0.230 (This information is typically auto-filled from previous use) Click “Connect.”
  4. It may ask for a username and password. If so:
    1. Username: AutoStore
    2. Password: Mp0402hh*
  5. Start the AS Driver application from the desktop icon on the Controller PC
    1. Driver must always remain running for the system to run properly!
  6. Start the AS Port Manager (if applicable) from the desktop icon on the Controller PC
    1. Port Manager must always remain running for the Fusion Port to work properly!
  7. In the Start menu of the Controller PC, search for “services”. Make sure all of the AutoStore services have the status of “Running”. If they don’t, Start the service by clicking on the service and clicking “Start” on the left side of the screen.
    1. Note: Systems running on AS Planner will not have BinJobPlanner, BinJobRouter, or Platform Service. AS Planner replaces these.
  8. Minimize the remote desktop connection to return to the Service PC.
  9. Click the play button on the Customer Console
